Shot Blasting

Shot blasting is one of the oldest methods of concrete surface preparation technologies used to prepare a concrete floor for further treatment. Shot blasting can remove up to 2-3 mm of existing concrete.

What is shot blasting?

Shot blasting utilizes a machine that projects a large number of small steel balls towards the surface of the floor at extreme high velocity to profile the surface. Most of these balls are then drawn back into the machine, via heap filtered vacuum systems to be used again.
